Lena Viola Carter was born July 22, 1890 near Iconium, St. Clair Co., Missouri, and died August 02, 1982 in Lowry City, Missouri.  She married Burlie Sheldon Cole December 25, 1910 in Osceola, St. Clair Co., Missouri, son of John Cole and Emma Cooper.  He was born October 14, 1889 in Osceola, Missouri, and died May 20, 1964 in Glendale, California.
                    

Notes:

 
Shares the same birth date exactly as Rose Kennedy.  She was active in Royal Neighbors and tended gardens throughout her life, canning and freezing vegetables.  She sewed much of her life, including making quilts and bonnets, many of which are still with the family.
