| | Named by Uncle Rice Harris Cooper Idaleen graduated from Lewis Elementary School on April 9, 1937. She went to Osceola High School but she married when she was fifteen and did not finish her schooling. Alto and Idaleen went to Texas when they married and lived there for three years. Alto was an iron worker while in Texas. Alto and Idaleen bought the first eighty acres of farm land and moved back to Missouri between Nov 1942 and Nov 1943. Idaleen spent her entire life helping on the farm and she devoted her life to her family. She was well known throughout the community for her generosity. She bowled and square danced with Alto. She was also very dedicated to the grandchildren and always gave them something special for their birthdays and Christmas. |
